Connecting Nintendo Wii
Currently the Nintendo Wii does not support WPA with 802.1x, a requirement for "BSC wireless" connectivity.
Nintendo will have to update the Wii to offer support for 802.1x in order to access the wireless network here at BSC.
To join your Wii to the network here at BSC you will need to purchase Nintendo's Wii LAN Adapter. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and urge you to contact Nintendo and ask for 802.1x support.
To Connect:
1. (Wired Only)Connect the Wii LAN Adapter to an available USB port on the back of the Wii.
2. Turn on the Wii and select the round WiiOptions button on the Wii Channels screen.
3. Select Wii Settings from the menu.
4. Scroll to the right and select Internet, then Console Settings.
5. The MAC address of the Wii console is displayed on the bottom on the screen labeled Wireless MAC Address or Wired MAC Address if using the USB . If this line is a light gray color and contains only 00's then there is a problem with your Wii LAN Adapter. Please contact Nintendo for support.
6. After Obtaining the MAC address please follow this link to input the information into the Gaming Request Form
